LET’S GET MUCKY!

I like to keep my eyes peeled for any upcoming horror flicks that look like they could be just the thing for Hickey’s House of Horrors.
Last week I came across one such film — MUCK.
The upcoming effort from Steve Wolsh looks awesome — self aware humour, plenty of disgustingly gory PRACTICAL special effects, a whole host of Playboy models and living horror legend KANE HODDER playing the fantastically monickered ‘GRAWESOME CRUTAL’.
Here’s the official synopsis to further whet your appetite:

After narrowly escaping an ancient burial ground, long forgotten and buried underneath the marshes of Cape Cod, a group of friends emerge from the thick, marshy darkness, tattered and bloody, lucky to be alive. They have already lost two of their friends in the marsh, presumably dead. They stumble upon an empty Cape Cod vacation house alongside the foggy marsh and break in to take shelter. Whatever was in the marsh is still after them and soon after one of them goes for help, the rest of the group learns that the evil in the marsh is not the only thing that wants them dead. Something worse, something more savage, was lying in wait just outside the marsh, in the house. What happens next is unspeakable, horror that cannot be unseen. These unlucky travelers spend their St. Patrick's Day trapped between two evils forcing them to fight, die, or go back the way they came.

Pretty cool, huh?

You want more cool, how about a trailer?

Now guess what — these guys are already planning a prequel to further explain and explore the nightmarish events of the night before Muck starts. And they need us to help them get it made!
They have started a Muck Kickstarter campaign that offers backers a host of brilliant incentives. How brilliant? Meeting the cast, getting social network shoutouts from a Playboy model, getting killed by Kane Hodder levels of brilliant!
Furthermore, you can pledge now and secure a copy of Muck on DVD/Blu-Ray before it even hits cinemas! And how about a guaranteed copy of the prequel as soon as it's finished?

That’s some good shit right there, people!

Furthermore, for my UK readers, I’ve spoken to the brilliant people at the Muck team and they have confirmed that they can send stuff across the pond to us Brits for a mere $10!

Come on people, let’s get more Muck made. They’ve already got my money!

Pledge at the Muck kickstarter site here, they have a little under three days to raise less that $25,000. THIS CAN BE DONE!
Stick your hand in your pocket and help them out, in exchange you can get the sort of awesome goodies that will make your friends insanely jealous.

Check out the Muck Facebook page, give it a like and spread the word… LET’S GET MUCKY!

I’ll report back in a couple of days — hopefully with some good news!
