COMING SOON: FLAT

Following on from this week’s Horror Headlines, I’ve had a couple of people ask me about the short film Flat, which is set to make its Festival debut at January’s Horror-On-Sea Fest in Southend-on-Sea.
Well allow me to give you a little more info!
Directed by Silvertip Films’ Geoff Cockwill, Flat is a short film that follows a young woman named Lisa (played by Essex-born actress, singer and dancer, Libby Gore) who runs into trouble while driving on a night to meet her friends. When her tyre bursts on an isolated stretch of road, Lisa comes to realise that she may not be alone in the dark after all...

Sound like your cup of tea? Why not check out the trailer here:

The short has garnered some great word-of-mouth for its old-fashioned creepy feel and some superb sound work, so this is definitely one to keep your eye out for!
Check out the short’s Facebook page here for any announcements about when it may be coming to a screen near you.

In the meantime, why not check out the following interview with the very photogenic and likeable Miss Gore (how’s THAT for a Scream Queen surname?) where she discusses the process of making the film and why Flat is worth your time.

If that isn’t enough there‘s another interview, RIGHT HERE!

Note that she says its worth sticking around to the end of the credits? Intriguing…

There'll be a review for Flat coming soon, but until then do please check out and like the Hickey’s House of Horrors Facebook page, which you can find here. It gives you a nice quick link to any new posts on this blog, plus regular news updates from around the web. I check the Internet so you don’t have to! Alternatively, follow me on twitter: The House@HickeysHorrors

Until next time, I hope you enjoyed your stay.
